The numbers are all multiples of seven The numbers add up to 42 The numbers all represent people or living beings In Revelation there are 6 sevens in verses 3-19. They are in groups of 2. This matches with the groups of 14 names in Matthew. The first use of the word "king(s)" matches in both books at the 14th name.
